Video Violence(1987)

...When renting is not enough!! The rare classic shot on video flick Video Violence really proves anyone with a little motivation, a few blank VHS tapes and a camcorder can make a movie of their own. Yes this movies has horrible acting, terrible effects, bad audio and video. But why do we even bother to watch is? Well, because its nice to see what someone out side of the movie industry could put together.

Video Violence is about a couple that moves to a small town from the big apple. The husband opens a small video store in the town, but oddly enough the only things that are rented from the store are bloody horror movies and the occasional xxx film. When tapes of the stores start being replaced with homemade snuff films, the husband and wife go on an investigation to get to the end of the grizzly murders caught on tape.

There is some good gore in Video Violence even tho it was obvious it has a micro-budget. There is a really good looking decapitation scene in the film. Tho this film is very hard to find right now, you will have a blast when you watch it if you can get your hands on a copy. There is also a sequel to this film titled "Video Violence 2: The Exploitation" released by Camp Video.

You can find this movie on DVD along with Video Violence 2 on April 10, 2007 from Camp Motion Pictures(no relation to Camp Video). You can get more information on the DVD release at http://www.campmotionpictures.com/.
